TeachAThon

TeachAThon Edtech Network

TeachAThon Edtech Network is a global educational technology initiative dedicated to empowering educators through digital skills, open education practices, and innovative professional learning opportunities.

Our Roots

TeachAThon began as #Teach-A-Thon, a Creative Commons–supported professional development hackathon launched in 2018 to help educators explore digital teaching tools. The pilot revealed that many teachers were unfamiliar with the transformative power of online learning, open education, and technology integration.

From that discovery, TeachAThon Edtech Network emerged, expanding beyond training into a dynamic community-driven platform for professional growth, research, and innovation.
